I could never interpret this image any other way than Cattleya, with Rana, suddenly meets Melpha randomly in the streets of Gainos (Leina was either traveling with Melpha or the others), says hello, then suddenly squishes her boobs up to hers...

(this img is from "Message of Cattleya", an official light novel that has never been translated, so maybe this scene is explained in it but I have no idea...
