Instead of seeing just Trunks back from an alternate future again, it might be neat to see a grown up Bra, Goten, Pan or Marron from a possible future instead. I get that he’s popular and Dragon Ball isn’t terribly creative or good at handling all of the characters they have but it could’ve been cool to see a different spin on something they’ve done before and have the next generation actually matter. It’s like not only did Gohan become disappointing and fail to live up to all this potential but he sort of just killed the hopes of the next generation ever mattering.
