I like to think even if Bede didn't say it that when Chairman Rose basically abandoned him when he was trying to help his plans that he wasn't just heartbroken, but that he also was angry since he had believed in Chairman Rose after the endorsement he got, and just because of his ambitious actions, Bede was tossed aside like trash. Makes you feel a little for him.
