I love the pairing of ZenkichiXMedaka but THIS picture represents why it also saddens me that much. Medaka's personality means that she can't deny anything to ANYONE who wants her to do them a favor...so if some bastard wants to take advantage of it (like on this picture) then Medaka will most likely accept.

Can you imagine how heart-wrenching would be to be in Zenkichi's place then? Even more if they became an official couple. To know that anytime you're not seeing her, the woman you love could be doing this with any guy...and she probably wouldn't even know (or understand) that its hurting you...because as far as she knows, she's only "helping people" like she always does.

Simply put, a relationship between them would involve lots and lots of Netorare (for those who don't know what it is...don't try looking it up, its just gonna anger you) and any healthy man would not be able to take that much abuse before killing himself.
