It says in the description of Melony's League Card describes that Melony has a son. But, who's Melony's son? Gordie or something? Are they related or unrelated?

You need to play both Sword & Shield to get the full picture, but yes; Rock Boy is Ice Milf's son. Also there may be something about him having brothers and sisters too...
