Boy no wonder why anime fans (mostly western/American) get a (deservedly) bad rap/reputation. they wench and moan aboout the most minute things "oh this didnt happen in the manga" oh he's not that tall,oh that's not canon! its called a FANWORK, people!and anime is a medium of ENTERTAINMENT, not a religion.
