It really feels like they fast forwarded past Bulma during her prime. Back when she was younger, ready to set off an actual adventure and actually help or contribute.
I guess it does feel natural to see characters grow up but I don’t really see the hurry or why they had to rush towards it. I mean did anyone start watching Dragon Ball hopping to see that little boy become a grandpa? Now they’re slowing down the aging of characters and actually de-aged Mai like they knew it was a mistake to go so fast because most main characters should be pushing 50 and the kids should be around 10.
