There’s a nice bit of parallelism between Goku and Broly. They both spent a great deal of their life isolated with only a paternal figure resulting in sort of stunted development, having a friend that started off antagonistic and the first introduction to a world larger than what they’ve known involves a girl.

There’s a great deal of potential in this character, I hope that potential doesn’t go the same way so many others have gone... Gohan.
