There are some amazing fan made animated shorts on YouTube, anon. I think Lucas took A LOT of ideas from the J. R. R. Tolkien books, watered down the plot and story arcs and just put everything in space. But truth be told after the last six damn movies completely sucking ass. (40 fucking years of shit spinoffs. Think: 'Ewoks' animated movies and Star Wars Christmas Specials. Yuck) Corporate Star Wars Franchise is dead to me. Visually the last six movies were pretty to look at, thematically they're an embarrassing cluster fuck, the plots are so simple that a 9 year old could guess what going to happen next or they're completely stolen from good movies like the Godfather, and don't get me started on political agendas in the last three abominations.
