It's not a boss, but it sure as hell has the stats of one. And it's possible to encounter more than one. But you get increasingly larger amounts of money every step you take deeper into the cave where it lives. It's basically like playing chicken. Do you take what money you've gotten and leave before the monster appears? Or do you press your luck and take another step forward?
