So Anon 2 posted that like a year ago, but incase anyone else asks the same thing...A hitbox is the space on a character required to land a hit on them in a game. In Touhou, there's bullets everywhere...But a bullet has to pass over a very specific space on the character to actually kill them. If a shot, for instance, grazes the character's face or legs, it wont connect.
