I known it’s impossible. But no one is fucking constantly obsessed with ships in a fandom. Only fucking pathetic ass piece of shits do. But hey. If him neglecting her for fucking years and then being surprised that she loves him after she told him is your thing then you’re just fucking sad.

I'm personally not the biggest Naruto x Hinata fan but it really isn't "terribly written". Naruto didn't "neglect" Hinata, he was just oblivious to the whole thing because for some reason shonen protagonists are written that way, i don't know what the reason is but it's there, i don't like it but it's not bothersome. Naruto finds out Hinata likes him and then we get a time skip, some development must've occurred during that time.
I mean Sasuke went from Mega-Edgelord to a monotone dude who cares about his family but can't show it properly. That's development too, we didn't see that transition but it happened. before you go off calling things "terribly written" at least try to understand the thing you're talking about?

Honestly wished Kishimoto actually went with his original idea of making Hinata more of a main character for Shippuden instead of Sakura so that way we could get some actual chemistry between her and Naruto (heck I'd prefer her being in team 7 than the girl that constantly hits him for every little thing). It's a curse to be a shonen hero cause they constantly have to dish out the oblivious hero
Also @anon2, seriously do you not see the literal pics of hinata being a whore for Ay for no reason, I mean sure post whatever you want here I get it but shit dude maybe some people are tired of seeing someone being degraded as a character (talking about both Hinata and Ay) and instead being just some kind of stereotype or slut for no reason other than to say, look I made this to fuck with both the audience and the main character

Both Sakura and Hinata were written by the same author; both of them, or rather all of the Naruto female characters are equally terrible.
The only reason you can prefer one over the other is because of their personalities.
I recommend everyone to check ATLA simply to see how well female characters can be done by decent writers.
