Ring of Red, this reminds me of.
Old strategy game with a mix of real-time battles and turn-based map movement, with infantry and walking tanks of different classes. Alternate reality timeline, with a mix of technologies, roughly 1950s-ish...walking tanks inspired by WWII armor designs like this, infantry armed with mostly WWII era stuff, but with the addition of wire-guided man-portable anti-tank missile launchers... Pretty interesting game, if one is into those sorts of things.
