Look at the wrinkles on that shirt, bedsheets and pillow. You can't recreate that in 3d yet, this has to be real.

You actually can, theres a thing called realityscan that allows you to create a 3d model of an object using a massive amount of pictures. Textures can be created manually or via realityscan. The shirt can be a uv-mapped model allowing the introdiction of the custom shirt look. Its pretty neat stuff but im not very well versed on it though.

Clearly not very well versed indeed. UV-mapping just lets you paint on a canvas basically, nothing "custom" about it, common practice. Decent shaders and cloth sim is nothing mind-blowing.
