I think this is the first art I've found of Gamera shooting a plasma "fireball" that he had from the 90's/Heisei onward. Most art of him using powers is his flamethrower breath from the older Showa movies, the plasma fist or plasma cannon.

I've mentioned it on another post but weirdly art of monsters or weapons using their powers are uncommon, art of certain scenes or landmarks even less so and battle damage even less so than that. Most art is of the monsters just standing there looking cool and in good health before the fight starts.
