yeah it's the PPGZ version of the original dynamo.
of course, being a japanese version of the show, this dynamo is more hardass.

also, it's made up of 3 individual mechs piloted by each girl and has 2 other forms (getter robo)

I remember that episode, proffessor utonium build dynamo to help the girls fight off a sea monster that was to strong for them, that battle endend with the monster and most of the city destroyed, well at least the proffessor was blamed and not the girls because he forced them to use it.
