Basically the twins switched family name in this mirror universe.

all I watched was the original show when I was younger. I never really needed to look up reverse versions cause I liked the original with mabel and dipper pines, fighting against Bill Cipher etc

Not really.. I just don't see the point of this change XD If you guys like it then go right ahead and do so I just can't see the point after watching the original series so many times. I'm also currently in the middle of watching The Owl House.. highly recommended. heard there's a few more episodes.. haven't watched since like episode 10 or so...
