The reason I wanna hate this is because its a physical impossibility that his would be a working weapon. with the bolt being that close to the back of the reciever theres no real way theres any room for it to actually cycle, not having room for a spring assembly behind the bolt to return the bolt forward.

Have you even thought about trying to make it work? I'm no gunsmith or expert, but it could use whatever the fuck system the FAMAS uses with modifications. Why can't you be a little creative and figure out a way that can work?

The only way I could see this working is if the shoulder stock was similar to an ar-15 style extendable stock where the return spring for the bolt sits
