I think his style is something you love or hate, and from my experience there aren't many people who are in the middle about their opinions of him.

I love most of the stuff he did with lilith soft and think it still holds up to this day. Some of his newer stuff doesn't do it for me though — He's been working with Gold Bear a lot lately and many of his characters have these fat faces, and they are made worse by all the stupid expressions they make. Chubby ahegao faces just look silly.

Some can love Murakami's ar and others can hate it. But everyone could agree the new animations suck.
