I like the general idea too but somehow I think they'll find a way to ruin these fillers too (I was already bored to hell when Rukia "fought" (talked... and talked... and talked...) with Sode no Shirayuki.
And I'm still not satisfied with the Zanpakutous all (but Ryuujin Jakka) betraying their masters for no real reason, completely changing their character.

@ Anon 6: No. Haven't seen Kenpachi in this filler once (how should they implementhis Zanpakutou? They couldn't even name it)
@ Anon 5: I watched it. But the only reason I'll accept is the "mind control" we've learned of in 236. Some of the reasons the Zanpakutous mentioned before were too superficial and meaningless for me to just accept that they were enough to make someone go up against a person you had fought together with for centuries and engage him to the death.
