^ I'd wager Kitami's relationship with Naoto in New Testament is meant to establish that she isn't a full-blown psychopath even after her descent into villainy following her unfortunate experiences in Origins. Naoto is also the only person she still shows genuine affection to after their reunion. Additionally there's also considering a psychopath would be unable to form genuine bonds with anyone whereas a sociopath can. Nothing like a good old-fashioned 'even evil has loved ones' to ensure a baddie isn't a complete monster.
