for some odd reason, whenever the japanese (or at least their comic characters) see something really hot, they get a nosebleed, the hotter, the larger the nosebleed, and for some reason, women don't seem to know that, and always go like "are you hurt?"

that's a Japanese convention (or gag) that VIRGINS will nosebleed when embarrassed by the sight of feminine features (usually hidden).
