As for the lipstick thing, I belive the Joker to be a guy in most versions, despite the lipstick... :-°
Also, all 3 from the start were themed the same way : males with, from a human point of view, female-looking features, and power-conserving transformation. Only Doria was always in true form as he was uninterested in doing things half-way, while Zabon's reason for his transformation was his dissatisfaction for his true form's ugliness. I won't detail Freeza, i think we all know. ;)
So yeah, there's a definitive trend between those 3, including being males from the start. ;)
As for the pic, pretty interesting though it looks like this time Doria is using his transformation for some reason, as he's more humanly and less reptilian.
