I am just not a fan of that color scheme. It's so... Voltron. Like it's accented to distinguish multiple uniforms when there's not another human for light-years. It's busy and complicated in a way that doesn't seem functional or aesthetically justified. It's so arbitrary. There's no separation of body parts by color (which would be even more Voltron, but at least follows a sensible pattern). There's no gradient of rainbow colors from top to bottom, or radiating outward from her head. Like if orange upper-body armor gave way to yellow forearms and a green cannon, etc, it would draw your eye in. And the shifting chroma would look great as a metallic "mystic paint" finish, if she ever gets a full set again. Show off the Switch's PBR shading, y'know? Deep purple boots leading smoothly to the iconic helmet.

Instead it's kinda... Eva OC. Samus Makinaran, do not steal.

Or maybe this game's cyclopean bad guys are from Zeon.
