It was a fan made Anime, but ZUN cancelled it because he wanted to keep Touhou alive in the fan works, games, and music. Which is understandable. I never played any of the games and yet I'm a fan of it because of all the awesome misc. stuff they have of it.

IMO I think if they were do to one, I want to see the same budget they had for FMA:BH or better =P
