Since the show is brain dead by now (i.e. that "youtube finale thing" and stuff like original writters jumping the ship), that's going to happen, like... NEVER.

If Misty were a Character-of-the-Day instead, MAYBE we would see her in all that glory (and the actual writers, of course, would ignore the raging disparity of ages between them)

No age disparity between Ash and Misty in the SHOW. In the games, sure, but in the show, their ages are equally unchanging. The real disparity is Ash to both of the new female companions.
