Given that the two of them were raised separately as kids, it actually wouldn't be entirely out of left field for them to have overwhelming sexual feelings toward each other.

^ Rin and Sakura were raised together until approximatively 6 years old, there's a good chance the Westermarck effect would have already happened.

Plus they were only a year apart at the same schools, so the whole "first meeting as adults" thing doesn't really apply.
