UnbornReikon and Anon4, that only applies to the Saiyans. Everyone else is weak as hell.
Considering the fact that everyone in DBZ is semi-immortal (wait one year, come back to life) only two things come to mind. 1: It is NEVER a fair fight. 2: Why the hell didn't they just wish themselves all to be young again?

That's not how the wishes work in DBZ. You can only make wishes that the dragon is able to fulfill. So wishing yourself to be immortal would be an impossible wish since there are creatures out there that are more powerful than the dragon itself.

@1088241
correction. The dragon can only grant a wish that it's CREATOR could do (as stated in the series; but considering that Parunga pieced the Earth back together, while his own Creator was just a Namekian... yeah, kinda senseless. At least the reviving people wishes are explainable, as even child Dende revived Vegeta and Krillin during Freiza saga).
Also, the Dragons COULD grant immortality/eternal life. Since their Creators (Namekians) can revive people, all they'd have to do is keep them alive the instant the individual goes through an experience that would normally kill them. But then again, Dragons have brought back entire planets, restored their populations, and even reverted Goku back to a kid (power over fucking time people), among other things. I don't think keeping somebody alive is that hard for them.
