the good days of DBZ... I really wish Vegeta was able to be granted immortality, or at least become a super saiyajin when he came back alive, and helped Goku pound Frieza. It would have made so much more sense for Vegeta to finish him than Goku to "let him go thinking he would change" <_<

Goku tried to let him go, but obviously he thought he'd killed Frieza in the end, when he used that burstwave of energy when Frieza used Goku's energy to in turn attack Goku.
