Plz I have a question and would love to have someone give me an answer for it if you may. While this dress wouldnt be considered an accurate belly dance dress, cause this one is a bit too revealing, generally, what do guys think of women who dress like this and dance in them? Like do you think they are being slutty? or you is it classy?

^It's only revealing by our prudish Western standards.

selina_selina To answer your question, I think thats strictly based on culture differences. I am assuming of course you are an arabic lady too, so in arabic culture its a traditional art and part of the culture, despite that many guys look down on women who dress like that to parties and such, cause its less accepted these days. While in more open cultures, its perceived as entirely your choice what to do with your body. I hope that answers your question.

@selina_selina - yeah I kinda agree with the other guys. Personally, I've never liked to use language like "slut" or "slutty" against a woman. The deep roots as to why I don't like the word is the reason why this reply is gonna be long, hehe. I can understand why some people might enjoy using language like that or even like being called that, but IMO that's entirely a result of some of the more negative aspects of western culture engrained into most western people, such as the sexual repression and control that comes out of Abrahamic religions. I prefer to see sexuality in the eastern or particularly ancient Indian sense, before they were invaded by Mughals and Victorians. Anyone, male or female, that wants to express their sexuality or wear whatever they want shouldn't be degraded or called dirty for it. The body and sexuality are beautiful natural things that should be celebrated, and openly discussed and analyzed without judgement. Unfortunately, even among westerners who distance themselves from old religious dogma, even among atheists, it's been ingrained in society's psyche that sex is something that belong either only in bedrooms, porn sites, or dark alleys, and sexuality is either a stupid and funny thing, or a nasty and dirty thing. In movies/art it always has to come combined with profanity, violence, and gross-out humor, and next to those three its still the least respected.

If I think the word "slut" has any place, it's not in what a woman wears but WHY she wears it. If she's wearing it to express herself, that's different than if she's only doing it to please society or meet what she sees as social expectations, get money, get ahead, etc. at the expense of her own beliefs, then I wouldn't call her slut but I wouldn't be too impressed by her character (I'm not the kind who likes to shame and pass judgement on people, I'm far from a perfect person myself). There's this one model I was a fan of who got her breasts enlarged and got rich and famous but one day got a reduction and said "I never wanted them, I hated them, but that's what made money", it kinda felt like a betrayal to her fans that she seemed to proudly show off her body when secretly she wasn't proud of it, she was more fake than her breasts were. Meanwhile, I know another model who got bigger breasts because she always loved big breasts since she was a child. I call it having or not having a "big boob personality", some women naturally have them but dont want them, some women don't naturally have them but want them, some women don't want them but get them anyways, some have them naturally and love them, and then of course there's those who don't have them and don't want them because they have more important things to think about or they realize there's more than one kind of sexual appeal and more than one way to be appealing.

But that said, if women can be sluts then so can men, in their own way, they just rarely get called out for it and unfairly get praised for things a women would get derided for.

And people put too much emphasis on the amount of skin a person shows when it comes to how sexually arousing they are. It's a fallacy. Remember over 100 years ago in the US, when women were expected to cover up more, men became a lot more aroused by ankles and legs than they do now. Even if you covered up everything but they eyes, those eyes would become more arousing. Even if you covered up the eyes too, just the idea of what's being covered up would be more arousing. If anyone thinks the stuff nuns and devout Muslim women wear is erasing their sexual allure, they're kidding them selves. This is humanity. Life finds a way. Repression only harms. Freedom combined with education is the best way to go.

So yeah, I think the outfit here is sexy and beautiful, not "slutty". Also, wow this pic is pretty cool in general. I would never think of wanting to see Samus in an outfit like this, but it's cool enough just to see those awesome carpet designs with the metroids behind her. And of course, Samus is always hot, but how she'd end up in an outfit like this is impossible to explain seriously, lol.
