Honestly, not bad. But the cross being replaces with no effort to flesh out an alternative (Say a uniform change, maybe flesh out the religion as something else, etc...) and just but some dumb pendent that has no meaning behind it is so lame. If it's a nun, in a church, and it's obviously Christian, wtf are you doing replacing the cross? Why? It serves no purpose and really takes me out of it, bad world building, very shallow, and makes no sense. Are you just allowed to copy paste something and just give it a different name and then say it's yours? Don't you have to work for something to be your own? Like for real, the cross is the most important part of the their faith if you remove that bit then what is even happening? If it was at least something that I could believe would be a real signet of a faith that would be better, but this little blade thing screams, made up, to me and it takes me out of it, too bad. Some things are so stupid it puts you off even from your lowest moments that bring you to places like this. Anyways, figured I'd say something.
