Actually i think it will trigger when the poor soul becomes more and more erect. You need to look at the wire that is attached to the trap itself. If the trap is pulled enough, and enough pressure put on the trigger-plate, it will spring the trap rather than cumming onto the trigger itself. Otherwise the picture makes little sense to me
