"Knowing" Zenith Lee, her "Gauntlet" could be a artificial Bodypart. Like Anakin Skywalkers Hand or Luke Skywalkers Hand after losing the real One to Lightsabers.

Wouldn't it be satisfying and ironic? Getting Hands that could stop Lightsabers by catching them, after losing the real Hands because of Lightsabers... ...

There's a dozen or so materials that can resist lightsabers, so I suspect it wouldn't be too tough to pull off. Although at that rate you might as well just get armor made of the stuff to prevent you from losing your hand in the first place.

Hell, the shadowtroopers had armor made from/coated with cortosis, so....
