The next image in the sequence makes clear that this is the first orgasm she's ever had and she's not really familiar with the concept of an orgasm. So I asked myself "if a native speaker of English were abducted, stimulated with a vibrator, and on about to have her very first orgasm, what would she say?" (I like to ask the important questions.) I think "something's happening" makes more sense in this context than the more literal "something's coming."
