^in the US we changed the names around. Green is the guy in and Blue is the girl in Japan while their names are reversed in the US. We switched to match with the games Pokemon Red and Blue version.

Putting Kamina shades (Or Gar Glasses, as I call 'em sometimes) on Red is like hangin' a "Certified Badass" sign around Chuck Norris' neck. And as for the Green/Blue thing, it's totally a matter of preference. Don't let people correct you just because you like English/Japanese names better (I prefer to go by English names).
