That's Makiba Hikaru and Maria Grace Fleed,from the third series of Go Nagai's Mazin trilogy, Grandizer. In the manga,Mazinger Angels, Makiba is the pilot of Diana A, and Maria pilots Minerva X.

I wish we could've gotten an OVA or something based on Mazinger Angels. The manga was a lot of fun.
