The premise of the story is good, just not the execution. And it would help if the 'ninja' in the story went by some other name. I mean, fuck, these are the least subtle fighters I've ever seen. Tricking your enemy while fighting head-on doesn't make you a ninja; in fact, fighiting head-on makes you not a ninja. Is the series gay? I don't think so; just terribly executed. And yes, Zabuza probably is the closest thing they have to a ninja with his silent killing technique.

Is Naruto himself gay? Maybe. He used to use perverted techniques and spy on women's baths and such. Now he declares how he and Sasuke will die together. If you're gonna do that, at least fuck that Hyuuga girl that declared she loves you. He also seems to have forgotten/never learned the cardinal rule: pay your debts. Sasuke has tried to kill you several times; return the favor.
