Her name is Yukiko Makihara, a main heroine for Tokimeki Memorial 3. Toki-Memo 3 is a dating simulation game that didn't succeed compared with great 1 and 2. The fund named "Toki-Memo Fund" was collected from eager fans for this series, but they didn't get good result.

...To tell the truth, I have never played this game. I am not an eager fan. However, I drew this oekaki for pitiful Yukiko, under an influence of the following parody strip of Toki-Memo 3...

This strip was drawn by one of real eager fans for Toki-Memo 3. I write the translation of it. We must pity Yukiko!

So poor that she's selling matchbooks? Why do I remember something like this?

@anon: It's from the story of the little match girl. On a cold New Years Eve a poor girl is selling matchbooks, but no one is buying them. She's too afraid to go home as her father would beat her for not selling any. So she sits in a dark nook and starts lighting the matches to stave off the cold. In the light of each match the little girl sees happy vision of things, like a Christmas tree, a feast, etc. When she strikes the last match, she sees a vision of her loving grandmother, who died, and then as the match fades away the girl dies of cold. The End.
