Tsathoggua is described as a frog with fur of some sort. Not sure any of the remaining actually fits, or if Lovecraft ever used him. Might have been another writer who made him.

Am I the only one that notices Ponyo?

Ruins the epic.

Either A. This was made to show how Ponyo is damned freaky looking.
Or B. They added her in there because they realized the above.

@anon1

I believe Tsathoggua was created by Robert E. Howard, but I'm not 100%.

Not sure if the one between Ponyo and the Ghast is Tsathoggua as you guys say, or Rhan-Tegoth, from The horror in the museum. The triangle of eyes says so, but then again, it's not squatting as Lovecraft described.

Tsathoggua was actually created by Clark Ashton Smith, who's probably the most prolific early Mythos writer who's not Lovecraft (Robert E. Howard beats him for sheer volume of stories, but only if you include his non-Mythos stuff, e.g. sports, westerns, historical adventures, etc.).

The thing between Ponyo and the ghast is definitely Rhan-Tegoth IMO; as for Tsathoggua, it's the big red furry thing behind Rhan-Tegoth. It's quite often bee depicted with a snout due to being said to have similarities with bats.
