I mean, that's actually debatable, as the word "Incubus" essentially means a top sex-demon, and "Succubus" essentially means bottom sex-demon, rather than being specifically male and female respectively. Now, most folkloric incubuses have been male, but that's primarily due to the limited nature of sexual intercourse in the time they were written, thus this modern interpretation of the creature would make sense to be a male succubus, as they are clearly intended to be a bottom.

There's also myths that they can change sex so they are one and the same. The demon would be a succubus to get sperm from the man and then have sex with a woman as an incubus and somehow this gets either the demon or the human pregnant with a demon baby.

People had crazy imaginations back then. Though when I talk about succubi and Incubi I am generally talking about the modern interpretation where the two are different, separate sexes of same demon race.

In the original texts of the Old Testament, the word used for "Incubus" literally translates into "Succuboi", but it was deemed too sensual so they went with the former.
