the person is probably just protraying real life I mean real cats come in tons of different color patterns and breeds so this artist is just playing off of that so plz for pity sake chilax >.>

XD;;; Actually BlackTailmon is a species of Digimon all its own... There's three different subspecies of Tailmon. ^^; There's the plain old adult/champion level Tailmon, Tailmon Child, BlackTailmon, and Mikemon.

The card game makes a ton of new Digimon by repainting old ones (Gururumon is not a misprint - his fur is just a bit purpler than Garurumon. I think they were poking fun at their own repainting habit with him...) and black is a popular color - just ask BlackWarGreymon, for one of a few here and there who've been in the show. BlackGatomon's a real Digimon with most of the same attacks. And now there's a calico called Mikemon (mikeneko - calico.) Also, if there *hadn't* been... different races exist. Acknowledging it is not racist.
