Wow, yeah, I must say, all the other characters kind of have expressions you would expect from them: Tsukasa *tries* to look tough, but you can clearly see on her face that she's nervous as hell. Konata is like... an RTS player about to send a rush up someone's ass and being all "kekeke" about it (I had to put that in gaming terms. :P) And Kagami is quite accurately the most serious, no nonsense of the bunch. Miyuki is just... damn that seems out of place, but you know what they say, beware the nice ones. :P I certainly wouldn't want to be interrogated by her. THAT GAZE o.O;

can't help but notice, they are wearing different uniforms. Konata looks like she might be from the SS. Tsukasa's uniform looks like she is the lowest rank here. Miyuki and Kagamin sharing the same uniform? Kagamin looks like she is in charge, but she is not decorated? Huh? O_o

BAHAHA. Japan couldn't even beat the Americans when they had most of their forces on the Western front. All that Japan could do is take over small, underdeveloped countries that barely had standing armies (China being the only exception, but even then they were weakened from civil war).
