Digimon Season five makes up for the horrible third season, and the Digimon World games are better then the Pokemon games.

Digimon has a more mature plot (ie: somebody actually "dies" in Season 1, and villains keep dying), whereas Pokemon is just capture Pokemon-Fight Gym Leader-Earn Badge, always fighting the obsessive Team Rocket who would probably be top executives if they didn't keep stalking Ash.

Am I the only one who thought the third season of Digimon was awesome? I mean, it was basically Lovecraft disguised as a kids' show, and wasn't it written by the same guy who did Serial Experiments Lain?
