newhalf and futanari are not the same tag and should not be aliased. Futanaris are basically magical characters who appear as intersex because well, the author wants it. Newhalfs are shemales/tgirls/transgirls, they're real people who have transitioned, which is what this artist is trying to depict.

Bridget being a boy was the entire point of Bridget.

But all arguments about canon aside, this image is plainly Bridget as transfemme. It'd get tagged and discussed that way even if it was posted ten years ago.
