I could tell right from the start that Tenshi wasn't going to be an antagonist for too long and the series itself is already starting to show signs that she'll be becoming one of the main cast in time. Obviously she won't be accepted right off the bat, but it looks like it's going to happen.

And it'll no doubt be Otonashi who initiates friendlier contact. He's already talked to her on several occasions.
