OK, so now that Gin is dead (not too sure about it), I have something to say about it. I don't know if Tite Kubo had anything to do with the creation of the Heat The Soul series, but there were many great ideas for a Gin Bankai than having the same abilities as his Shikai. If he wants to just make it longer again, he should at least add some dimensional stuff like his own version of a Garganta/Senkaimon that the blade goes through in order to appear behind the opponent.
