Most Links can gain incredible strength by using some kind of magical item or potion to augment their abilities. TP Link uses upper body/leg strength alone to kill enemies with a 1-ton metal ball.

He also doesn't seem to have any magic of his own, even in other games a lot of the Links have their own magic meter, TP doesn't. He has items that are magical but that's it. Seem's TP Link is more power based like Conan while other Links are more magic based like spellswords.

I mean, he gets the ability to turn into a wolf at will, that is some pretty solid magic imbuement right there. What do other Links get, a bag of magic pixie dust?

Sort of. At first the wolf form is a curse by Zant. Midna is able to help him remove the crystal in his body eventually. They think about destroying it but then agree to keep it because the wolf form could still be useful. So even that is by a magic item.
