Ummm... Because, both Ragna and Kohaku loves Cooking?

And they both have Sisters who are terrible at Cooking. Those being Noel and Hisui. (Although, Noel is a clone of Ragna's Sister).

Kohaku's was worse by a long shot
I mean sure Ragna is the fated Destroyer but he made sor of friends with Jubei and Rachel they made sure that he didn't go "Doll" Path like Kohaku

Ragna had a pretty crappy childhood that ended when his brother (Jin) pretty much killed him. After Rachel revived him, he spent all his time training and getting stronger so he can avenge his own and Saya's (sister) death. So, yeah, Kohaku had it worse. But the s**t doesn't end there for Ragna...

Wth... Ragna never died... Sure he was about to bleed out because Jin (posessed by Terumi) had cut his arm off but that's when Rachel turned him half vampire to save him (which explains, I think, hi red eye).
