Yes, it is an inside joke for all of you! Because AMERICA begins in Alaska and ends at the Patagonia in Chile.
America is a continent, like Europe, Asia... is not a country.

Anon2, we are the only country with "America" in the name for both continents. So we can say we're American we damn well should.

Anon 1 is technically correct. same with Anon 2, if it's a different person. The technical name is The United States of America. Taken at face value, which it should be, this means all fifty states have the ability to secede from the union at any point. Civil War ring any bells. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that "America" refers to these fifty Autonomous states held under the political control of the District of Columbia.

Also, in case of secession, it doesn't mean the other 49 states can't invade, kick your ass, and drag you back kicking and screaming. I'm looking at you, Texas.

To anon8, I like to point out that, historically, the fastest way to cut down on dissent is to kill the dissenters :D

To anon2, Your statement is only true in the Abstract sense. Much like how Gay can be used to refer to happy people. Globally, when people speak of Americans, they're referring to citizens of the United States of America and not to people of either North or South America.

To anon6, you Technically could, but then, why would you? Because we're just stellar overseas or something?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

...I don't know what all you anons are complaining about, because a girl wearing an American flag bra is hot. She's outspoken, proud, knows herself and is probably open for *anything*. Land of the "free", home of the "brave". That quotes work in many ways. ;D
