To me it makes sense. In the actual manga/anime, she keeps kicking the vending to obtain what she wants (instead of paying for it) and Kuroko keeps reprimending her for that ('cause Kuroko is part of "Judgement" and Misaka Mikoto is one of the 3rd most powerful esper of Academic City and Tokidawa's ace). So to make money (to pay for the vending machine), she fucks old (rich?) guys and steels their wallets.

But that guy's gonna have a surprise using his stun gun on Mikoto. Wonder who'll be stunned...
